I was reading someone’s blog (Buried With Children) who mentioned that in her writer’s workshop they said you should try and do a comic strip for your blog. And I thought, “Hey, that’s a COOL idea. I can try doing that.” So, here’s my feeble attempt. Based on a sad but true story.

This is great – many of us can relate to some version of this 21st century tale which plays out in beds, living rooms and at kitchen tables everywhere!
The artwork is very well done (although at first I thought you were sporting pearls in bed and then realized it was a nightie neck ruffle 🙂
Thank you for a good laugh today!
oh how true. inspiration for this comic strip: my kids died laughing one sunday morning when they saw their father and i lying in bed both of us competing against one another on our work computer on a game of gulf…the goal was to see who could win the most number of games in a period of time. winner: their father. but hey..it was fun.
wonder how’s mine will look like :p
thanks for stopping by to my blog the other day =)
enjoy the weekend ~
can’t wait to see your comic strip.
LOL!
I totally LOVED this. Awesome comic and I must say, your drawing skills are impressive.
YOU were my inspiration for this. Your comic strip is even better i think. I love the idea of a comic strip and trying to think of another idea for one. what fun!!
Ha – great job!! Thanks for stopping by my blog on my BON day 🙂 I’m impressed with all that you are doing to better the lives of women and children….I bet is is a blast browsing around shops for funky things in Cairo. Yet, I’m more like your husband when it comes to being a minimalist. My life right now is not very minimalistic, but I aim to get there one day. Ahhhhhh….one of those houses you see in the magazines with white walls, lots of windows, European style appliances….just dreaming out loud here.
Glad you are enjoying blogging. I am amazed at all the people I have “met” from all corners of the world. There is always constant “company” out there!!
I totally agree. i have met so many neat people. thanks for stopping by.
Bwahahaha! Love. That rocks. And it’s kind of my life now at half that age…
Yikes. 😉
